Tim Russell, Licensed General Contractor & Project Manager

Tim’s love for remodeling started in the late 70’s as a co-owner of a custom cabinet shop. As owner and manager of Centerline Construction He takes a hands on approach to every project big or small. Selecting and overseeing all tradesmen and on many projects the work is done by him personally. His greatest love is the finish work such as Finish carpentry, cabinets and built-ins. His years of experience  help to steer the projects course from start to finish.  Listening to the client’s ideas and desires and turning those dreams into reality is really what it’s all about! The challenges encountered during any remodel or new construction project can be daunting at times to the home-owner, this is where Tim sets Centerline apart. Keeping the project on track and handling the challenges for you, as well as finding great solutions to any obstacle!

David Russell, AIA

David Russell is from Portland, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon in 2001 with a Bachelor of Architecture. Throughout his college years he worked as an intern at three different architecture firms in Anchorage, Alaska; Costa Mesa, California; and Portland, Oregon gaining experience in a wide variety of project types – both residential and commercial.

After earning his degree, he joined DLR Group – an award winning national firm – and worked out of their Portland, Oregon office for almost 4 years. During this time he continued to gain experience in multiple project types including: Retail, Mixed-use, K-12, Higher Education, Justice, and Hospitality. He led design teams for projects of all sizes, including those with budgets over 100 million dollars.

In 2005 David moved to Chicago  when an opportunity came to join a very prominent international design firm  TVS Design out of their Chicago office. While with TVS Design, he led the retail, mixed-use and higher education segments for the Chicago office and managed/designed projects both domestically and internationally.

With the creation of res|D in 2010, David continues to pursue his passion for design by focusing on the smaller projects we all call home. His desire to partner with each client and deliver design solutions that are relevant, thoughtful, and collaborative has left each client as satisfied with the process as they are with the final product.
